RooMy
A safer, smarter way to find the ideal roommate and ,maintain harmony at home

Introduction
RooMy is a mobile platform that simplifies the process of finding compatible roommates and fosters a positive living environment once you move in together. With increasing urban density and changing life milestones, shared housing has become a permanent solution rather than a temporary one; it is now the new normal.
Solution
Create a safe, trustworthy roommate-matching platform
Focus on behavioral and lifestyle compatibility
Support long-term roommate harmony
Design for both roommate-seekers and apartment-seekers
Problem Discovery
As more people live with roommates for longer periods due to rising urban density and changing life milestones, the process of finding a compatible roommate remains unsafe, time-consuming, and stressful.
Shared housing is increasingly becoming a long-term arrangement rather than temporary, yet the existing roommate-finding methods do not adequately address safety, transparency, or ease throughout the entire roommate lifecycle. Can this be solved?
My Role
I managed the overall design process, focusing on product scoping, user flows, wireframes, rapid prototyping, and usability testing.
Additionally, I conducted user research and analyzed the findings to generate viable ideas.

Interviews → Surveys → Competitor Analysis → Personas → Journey Mapping → Prototyping → Testing
